Create Digital Art
01	Sprite Comics	Create Comics with Game Sprites
	Create, rip, edit and recolor popular sprites using 2D graphics software. Illustrate and modify backgrounds. Use exciting text. Create fun comics.
02	Flash Web Animations	Create Web Site Animations
	Produce creative animations, illustrations and navigation for web sites using Flash. Start out creating simple objects and text, and then try your hand adjusting their color, size and shape. $50 Lab Fee
03	Advanced Flash Animations	Produce a Flash Website
	Expand your skills using illustration, animation and programming using Flash. Create an interactive Flash website or your own adventure game using advanced animation techniques and Actionscript. Prerequisite: Flash Web Animations (2) or working knowledge of Flash. $50 Lab Fee
04	3D Animation	Animate with 3D Studio Max
	Design, model and animate your own 3D environment with 3D Studio Max. Create objects and text. Make realistic scenes with textures, transparency and mesh objects. Create cool effects using volume lights. $50 Lab Fee
05	3D Character Modeling	Create 3D Characters
	Create 3D characters for movies, websites and games using advanced animation tools in 3D Studio Max. Develop the design, model and textures of your 3D character. Learn skeleton structure, mesh optimization, and UVW and XYZ texturing. Use animation principles such as timing, anticipation, arcs, pose to pose action and much more to animate your 3D model. Prerequisite: 3D Animation (4) or working knowledge of 3D Studio Max $50 Lab Fee.
Design Video Games
06	RPG Game Design	Create RPG Games
	Make your first RPG game. Create stats and appearance for new party members, invent challenging quests, make bosses and other enemy encounters and place them in a world you create. Construct treasure chests and other objects that may hold gold, gems, special weapons, or be an unfortunate trap for the player.
07	Advanced RPG Game Design	Use Advanced Design Techniques
	Use advanced design techniques to build a world with other campers. Create a large campaign with mysteries, quests and evil villains. Design treasures for the players, add special missions, make NPC's with conversations or add enemies with strengths, weaknesses and special moves. Prerequisite: RPG Game Design(6) Programming Logic (22) or basic programming knowledge.
08	Flash Games	Create Video Games with Flash
	Learn the basics of video game design while developing a version of Pong using Flash. Then design, test and troubleshoot your own unique video game using advanced Flash animation and Actionscript. Prerequisite: Flash Web Animations (2) or working knowledge of Flash. $50 Lab Fee
09	Action Game Design	Construct Action Adventure Games
	Develop game building skills as you create an action adventure game. Learn to program a fast paced game that adds backgrounds, paths and obstacles. Import and create images, sprites and sounds.
10	Advanced Action Games	Develop Multi-Level Games
	Work on a development team to create a large, multi-level game. Be a graphic designer, audio artist, level designer, programmer, story writer or game tester! Work as a team to develop an original storyline and then choose what you enjoy most---develop your players and their special moves, design your enemies and attacks, or build boards and create tiles. Bring the elements together and test your game! Prerequisite: Action Game Design (9) or working knowledge of Game Maker
11	Strategy Game Design	Plan Innovative Strategies
	Make a strategy/conquest game. Build terrains and generate enemy strongholds for your players to battle. Create special power-up items for your units to make your armies stronger. Create original maps for multiplayer games and play against your friends.
12	Advanced Strategy Games	Devise Multi-Mission Strategy Games
	Work on a level development team and build unique game mods or create a campaign with multiple missions. Link multiple maps into an epic campaign with an incredible story. Incorporate RPG elements. Equip your army with special skills to conquer each level. Devise strategies working with other campers. Prerequisite: Strategy Game Design (11) or working knowledge of Warcraft 3 Editor
13	3D Game Modding	Import 3D Models into a Game Engine
	Develop original textures and 3D models and import into a popular game engine using 3D Studio Max. Add a surface texture using a library of pre-developed models. Explore polygons and object coordinates and learn wrapping techniques to enhance 3D models. Practice material ID and multi-sub object mapping as you create your own character and object models. Prerequisite: 3D Animation (4) or working knowledge of 3D Studio Max $50 Lab Fee
14	Puzzle Game Design	Create Challenging Puzzle Games
	Learn the tools to design a puzzle game that keeps players coming back for more. Master the concepts and gameplay mechanics. Create drop blocks like in Tetris, connect three like in Bejeweled and Zuma, or aim with precision for that hard to reach tile in Peggle. Incorporate your own ideas and art as you explore the limitless possibilities of making puzzle games. $35 Lab Fee
Design Your Own Website
15	Web Design	Design Your Own Web Site
	Create your own web site from scratch using HTML. This workshop has progressive content to challenge beginners as well as advanced designers. Add headings, paragraphs, images, links to other pages, and colors then add a touch of style to your site. Create style sheets using CSS to improve the look and feel of your web site. Java Script, audio/video, and other elements that make a web site more interactive are all topics in this workshop.
16	Advanced Web Design - PHP	Create Dynamic and Interactive Websites
	Use this server-side scripting language to embed dynamic and interactive features directly into the HTML code on your Web sites. Understand interactive Web experiences. Create forms (such as online surveys), and files to process and save data. Set up login system. Edit images. Send automatic e-mails. Create a user-driven image gallery and generate dynamic graphical reports.
Learn Microsoft Office / Keyboarding
17	Computer Skills	Create with MS Office and/or Learn Keyboarding
	Using PowerPoint and Excel, create sizzling presentations, simple animations, and fun spreadsheets, all while exploring Microsoft Office Suite. Challenge your friends to a typing race if you want to learn keyboarding skills.

21	Linux Operating System	Set-up an Open Source System
	Install a Linux-based operating system and set-up multiple shells and GUIs. Add open source software and network applications. Learn command line functionality and navigation. Diagnose and troubleshoot common system problems. $20 Lab Fee

22	Programming Logic	Learn Programming Fundamentals
	Write a program using the multiplatform Java language. Explore Boolean logic, an integral part of all programming, including "if" statements and "for" loop. Learn the fundamentals of computer programming and create fun programs in this introductory workshop. This workshop sets the foundation and is a prerequisite for all other programming workshops. Prerequisite: Working knowledge of Algebra and variables
23	Game Programming	Program a Video Game
	Design and code your own playable action game. Control events with a game loop. Create tables for races, special moves, enemies and treasures. Make enemies fight back with artificial intelligence programs. Prerequisite: Programming Logic (22) and Action Game Design (9)
24	C++	Write Programs in C++
	Learn object oriented programming rules and re-usable code in this workshop. Write basic programs with if/then statements and while/for loop functions. Build two-dimensional arrays and simple strings. Make your own version of a grid style game - like battleship, checkers, or chess. Prerequisite: Programming Logic (22)
25	Advanced Programming	Advance Your Skills
	Experienced programmers dive into a choice of Java or C++ in this advanced workshop. Expand your knowledge and capabilities with object oriented or recursive programming. Elevate your programs to the next level. Prerequisite: Programming Logic (22) and C++ (24)
