The Lake Forest College Campus
Emagination's Illinois summer camp is located outside Chicago in
the North Shore town of Lake Forest. Lake Forest College is situated
on 107 park-like acres. It is an idyllic location for a summer camp
in Illinois and Lake Forest and Chicago day camps. Overnight campers
live in Nollen Hall. Nollen Hall is a recently renovated, fully
air conditioned, suite style residence hall. Campers are grouped
by age and gender. Counselors live with the campers and provide
24-hour supervision. Athletic facilities include a pool, playing
fields and gymnasium. There is a medical supervisor on campus and
a hospital is located nearby.
The campus is located just east of downtown Lake Forest and is a
short drive from main north/south roads running along Chicago's
north shore which is convenient for day camp families. Lake Forest
is located 30 miles from the city of Chicago, the third largest

From Points West and Southwest (including O’Hare Airport):
1. Take I-294 (Tri-State Tollway), which becomes I-94, north
to Illinois 60 (Town Line Road). 2. Exit and turn right (east) on
Route 60.
3. Continue east to Route 43 (Waukegan Road), turn left (north)
for 1/2 mile to Deerpath Road.
4. Turn right (east) onto Deerpath and continue through the town
of Lake Forest and toward the College.
From points North:
1. Take I-94 south from Milwaukee.
2. Just south of the Wisconsin-Illinois line, stay left and follow
U.S. Route 41.
3. Exit at Deerpath Road, turn left (east) onto Deerpath, and continue
through the town of Lake Forest and toward the College.
From Downtown Chicago:
1. Take I-94 (Edens Expressway) north toward Waukegan.
2. When I-94 splits off toward Milwaukee, stay on the Edens, which
becomes U.S. Route 41. 3. Exit at Deerpath Road, turn right (east)
onto Deerpath and continue through the town of Lake Forest and toward
the College.
The College:
1. Once in Lake Forest on Deerpath Road, proceed east through
the business district and across the railroad tracks.
2. Deerpath winds through a residential area and the next stop sign
is Sheridan Road, which is the entrance to North Campus.
3. For Middle Campus, turn right (south) onto Sheridan Road, go
one block to College Road, and turn left (east) into the College
through the stone pillars.
Open House Parking:
Follow the directions above to Middle Campus. Once on campus, park
in the Middle Campus Parking Lot. Families will then walk back towards
College Road and enter the walking path on the left towards Young
Hall. There will be signage from the Middle Campus Parking Lot directing
you to Young Hall Room #117.

Emagination's core Computer
Camp program is for 8-17 year olds and balances technology learning
with fun summer camp activities in two-week sessions. Campers choose
three Technology Workshops from among twenty five that are offered
and everyone enjoys daily recreation in Retro Games. There is an
evening program for overnight campers and both day and overnight
campers can partipate in Talent Night and the Saturday Showdown.
Campers unleash creativity and discover new skills
in 3D Animation, Flash Animations, Web Design, Game Design, Robotics,
RC Cars and more. Check out a Typical
