The Bentley University Campus
Emagination operates its MA summer camp on Bentley's beautiful suburban campus near Boston. Located less than 10 miles from Boston in Waltham, Bentley is a business university and is a leader in integrating education and information technology. Bentley is a perfect location for Newton, Waltham and Boston area day and overnight summer camps.

Computer Camp and Game Design Camp classes are held in the Smith Technology Center, a $20 million leading edge facility. High-tech interactive amphitheater style classrooms provide a superb environment for Emagination's MA summer camp.

Overnight participants at our MA summer camp live in a centrally air-conditioned residence hall that includes a lounge, game room and laundry room. Campers are grouped by age and gender. Counselors live with campers and provide 24-hour supervision. Outdoor fields and an indoor pool provide ample room for Emagination's recreation activities. Summer camp meals are served in the nearby Student Center.

Programs Offered at Bentley
Emagination offers two technology camp programs at Bentley University.

Computer Camp
Our core computer camp program is for 8-17 year olds and balances technology learning with fun summer camp activities in two-week sessions.

At this location we offer 24 Technology Workshops plus five recreation choices including Retro Games, Tennis, Basketball, Swimming and Drama. We also offer a Community Service workshop for teens.

All campers at Emagination are assigned to small groups with a counselor mentor. Kilobyte campers ages 8-10 eat together and receive assistance with daily living activities and have earlier bedtimes if they stay overnight. Megabytes ages 11-13 are the largest group at camp. Campers in 8th grade or higher before camp are part of Senior Camp. Seniors take workshops together and are granted more independence, free time and special activities.

Overnight Camp starts with drop off on Sunday afternoon and ends two Fridays later at 4:00 PM. The weekend in the middle of the session is part of the program and is tuition free.

Day Camp operates Monday-Friday and day campers are invited at no charge to Saturday activities and the end of camp party on Thursday night. Three Day Camp options offer parents maximum flexibility.

Day program runs 8:45 AM to 5:00 PM with pick up anytime between 4:15-5:00 PM

Extended Day program runs 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM and includes lunch and dinner.

Full Day program runs from 7:30 AM to 7:30 PM and includes all three meals.

Game Design Camp
Emagination Game Design is a two-week overnight video game design camp in the Boston area for 15-18 year olds. Teens build a video game and get an in-depth view of what it takes to work at top game design companies. Guest speakers and a game design studio tour round out this video game camp program.

It's Worth the Trip!
Emagination's summer technology camps in Mass serve families looking for summer camps in New England including Massachusetts MA, Maine ME, New Hampshire NH, Vermont VT, Rhode Island RI, Connecticut CT, and other states such as New York NY, Florida, Ohio and many other states across the country.

The Massachusetts camp must comply with regulations of the Massachusetts Department of Public Health and be licensed by the local board of health.
