The Bentley
University Campus
Emagination operates its Mass summer camps on a beautiful suburban
campus near Boston. Bentley University in Waltham Massachusetts,
located less than 10 miles from Boston, is a business university
and is a leader in integrating education and information technology.
The Princeton Review named Bentley number three among the nation's
Most Connected Campuses. Bentley is a perfect location for Waltham
and Boston area day camps.
Emagination's Computer Camp, Game Design Camp and 3D Animated
Film Camp classes are held in the Smith Academic Technology Center,
a $20 million leading edge information technology facility. High-tech
interactive amphitheater style classrooms provide a superb environment
for MA summer camp.
Overnight participants at our Mass summer camps live in Miller
Hall, which is a centrally air-conditioned residence hall that
includes a lounge, game room and laundry room. Counselors live
with the campers and provide 24-hour supervision. Summer camp
meals are served in the newly built Student Center located close
by. There is ample room for outdoor recreation and Emagination's
participants enjoy Bentley's athletic facilities including a pool
located at the Dana Athletic Center.

Open House Parking
Once on campus, park in parking lot #2. Families will then walk
across College Drive and go up the steps toward the Library and
then take a right to locate the Smith Academic Technology Center,
room # 305. There will be signage from parking lot #2 directing
you toward Smith room #305.

1. Take Route 95/128 South to Trapelo Road, exit 28A.
2. Turn left at top of exit ramp.
3. Follow Trapelo Road 2.6 miles toward Belmont.
4. Turn right onto Forest Street.
5. One mile on the left is the Bentley University entrance.

Summer Camps
Emagination offers four MA summer camp programs.
Computer Camp
Emagination's core Computer
Camp program is for 8-17 year olds and
balances technology learning with fun summer camp activities in
two-week sessions. Campers choose three Technology Workshops from
among twenty five that are offered and everyone enjoys daily recreation
in Retro Games. There is an evening program for overnight campers
and both day and overnight campers can partipate in Talent Night
and the Saturday Showdown. Campers unleash
creativity and discover new skills in 3D Animation, Flash Animations,
Web Design, Game Design, Robotics, RC Cars and more. Check

Game Design Camp
Emagination
Game Design is a two-week overnight game
design camp in the Boston area for 15-18 year olds who are serious
about learning the video game design and development process.
Students learn game design skills using sophisticated software
then join a development team to build a playable video game which
is presented to a panel of industry experts for review and critique.
Guest speakers and a game development studio tour round out this
Mass summer camps program.
3D Animated Film Camp
Emagination
3D Animated Film Camp is a two-week overnight
summer film camp near Boston for 14-18 year olds interested in
creating an animated short film. Students learn 3D animation skills
using sophisticated software then join a film crew to create an
animated short film which is presented to a panel of animation
industry experts for review and critique. Guest speakers and an
animation studio tour round out this Mass summer camps program.
RC Car Racing Camp
Emagination
RC Car Racing Camp is a week long MA summer
camps program for RC Car enthusiasts ages 12-17. Participants
build, maintain, race and optimize the performance of a Radio
Controlled car. Teens learn racing skills and put the skills to
work on a complex outdoor track. This summer camp program in Mass
also teaches the Tamiya Championship Series Rules of the Road.
