A Note to Parents from the Owners of Emagination Computer Camps
For over 25 years Emagination has been the perfect summer camp for kids around the world who love technology. We believe in balancing technology learning with the activities and benefits of traditional summer camps. That's why Emagination's sessions are two weeks long and many campers stay more than one session. Campers have time to separate from parents, make friends and build self-confidence. Two week sessions also allow campers to take three different technology workshops each day.

Many campers would like to be on the computer 24/7 but we believe that recreation is important for healthy minds and bodies so campers spend one of four camp periods each day in a recreation workshop that emphasizes participation and fun. Campers also have fun with a multitude of other activities designed to foster community and respect for others. We even have an award---the Golden Broom, for campers with the neatest dorm room!

Emagination's technology workshops use leading software and professionally developed curriculums. Workshops are taught by carefully selected and well trained college students and recent graduates. Some of our counselors are former Emagination campers and we are proud to have staff members who have been with us for over 10 years.

Overnight campers travel to Emagination from many states and several foreign countries. That makes us very different from local one week computer camps. It may require a family drive or even an airplane ride, but we don't think you will be disappointed. Bringing together children with similar interests from different places richens the camp experience for everyone.

Our camp locations are chosen for their quiet suburban locations and the quality of the facilities. We have a constant emphasis on safety and we are proud to be accredited by the American Camp Association.

Each camp has an experienced Camp Director who is supported by Emagination's year-round corporate staff. Mike Currence is our Director of Camps and he has nearly twenty-years of experience managing summer camps. Allison Fitzgerald has ten years experience in the industry and is Assistant Director of Camps. They are supported by a corporate staff that is dedicated to the positive development of your child.
